After having lost a blowout in their  previous game against Bob Jones, Huntsville was happy to have turned things around  on Saturday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with  a  4-3  win over the Douglas Eagles.
 Truitt Taylor looked comfortable as he  tossed 2.2 innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   two  hits.
 On the hitting side,  Steven Cavaco and  Will Carter did most of the damage at the plate:  Cavaco  scored a  run and  stole three bases while  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances, while  Carter  went 2-for-3 with one  home run.
Huntsville's first  victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Douglas, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 1-2.
 Huntsville will have some time to savor their  win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Hewitt-Trussville at 5:00  p.m.  on March 4th. As for Douglas, they will head out on the road to  challenge  Fort Payne  at 1:30  p.m.  on Saturday.
