Last Friday, Guernsey-Sunrise made easy work of Rock River and carried off a 52-27 win.
Meanwhile, a well-balanced attack led Lingle-Fort Laramie over Crawford in every quarter on their way to victory on Saturday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that Lingle-Fort Laramie blew Crawford out of the water with a 76-27 final score. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 43-12.
It was another big night for Brady Cook, who dropped a double-double on 28 points and 14 rebounds. He has been hot recently, having posted two or more blocks the last four times he's played. Brody Roberts was another key contributor, scoring 18 points along with six rebounds and three steals.
Guernsey-Sunrise now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Lingle-Fort Laramie, they pushed their record up to 15-4 with that victory, which was their 11th straight at home.
Guernsey-Sunrise was dealt a bruising 62-26 loss at the hands of Lingle-Fort Laramie when the teams last played back in January. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Lingle-Fort Laramie's Elijah Hatch, who scored 21 points along with eight rebounds and three steals.
