Jayden Ortiz Delivers Electric Performance Vs Griffith
Jayden Ortiz's big game helped extend Wheeler's winning streak to seven on Friday. Griffith had no answer to Ortiz as he rushed for 220 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 10.5 yards per carry. Ortiz really tore up the turf during one magnificent 81-yard run.
Unfortunately for Griffith, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Ortiz. When Ortiz last faced the Panthers back in October of 2023, he rushed for 248 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 11.3 yards per carry.

Gary West Side was sadly handed a loss on Friday, but Ladarrion Newell did his best to prevent it. Nobody could stop Newell as he made seven total tackles (1.0 for loss).
Gary West Side has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-4 record this season. Newell and Gary West Side will challenge New Prairie at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Guiseppe Moore Makes It Two for Gary West Side
Another Gary West Side player making an appearance on this list is Guiseppe Moore. He rushed for 191 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 9.1 yards per carry. He was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 54 yards.
Calumet New Tech had to have seen this coming; the last time they saw Moore it was a similar story. When Moore last faced the Warriors back in October of 2023, he rushed for 223 yards and two touchdowns.

Wheeler Wins Seventh-Straight Thanks to Bryce Compton
Wheeler picked up their seventh consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Bryce Compton. Compton did his part (and then some), picking up 75 receiving yards and two touchdowns for the 'W'. He showed off some serious burst, cutting upfield on a catch for 63 yards.
If the past is any indication, Compton could be in store for another big game when he takes on Boone Grove on Friday. Back in September (the last time Compton saw the Wolves), he picked up 213 receiving yards and a touchdown.

Allen Posts Huge Game in 38-36 Victory
Rounding off our Top Five is Eric Allen of Calumet New Tech. Allen picked up 65 receiving yards and a touchdown, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground.
Calumet New Tech now has a winning record of 5-4. They and Mishawaka Marian are set to duel on Friday.
