When it comes to explaining why Mojave lost, one person who can't be blamed is Jac'omoire Fahie. Despite the final result, she scored 12 points along with two steals. That's the first time this season that Fahie grabbed two or more steals.
Mojave's defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 3-8. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 27.3 points per game. As for Sunrise Mountain, their victory bumped their record up to 12-9.
Mojave on the road again on Thursday and play against Basic at 6:30 p.m. on January 18th. As for Sunrise Mountain, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Rancho at 6:30 p.m.
