A Season-Best Performance from Jacob Brown Leads Pine Bush over Warwick
Pine Bush came up short on Thursday despite Jacob Brown delivering his best game to date. Brown rushed for 146 yards and three touchdowns on only 11 carries, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. The bulk of those rushing yards came from one huge play: a run that gained an incredible 75 yards.
Pine Bush dropped their record down to 2-3 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season. Brown and Pine Bush will take on Newburgh Free Academy at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.

Noah Flores' Rushing Yards a New Career-High
On Thursday, Monroe-Woodbury got the W thanks in part to Noah Flores playing the best football he has all season. Flores rushed for 138 yards and a touchdown on only 15 carries, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 81-yard run.
The victory for Monroe-Woodbury keeps them at an undefeated 6-0. Flores and Monroe-Woodbury will face off against Kingston at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.

Ethan Maldonado's big game helped extend Monroe-Woodbury's winning streak to six on Thursday. Maldonado turned in nothing short of a gem, throwing for 109 yards and three touchdowns.
