Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Western Boone walked away with it. Everything went their way against the North Montgomery Chargin' Chargers on Saturday as they made off with a 3-0 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 on October 2nd.

Emily Shepherd paced Western Boone's offense, picking up ten kills. Shepherd got some help from Kenleigh Raby and her 25 assists. Emmerson Gott controlled things from the service line, finishing with six aces.

The win made it two in a row for Western Boone and bumps their season record up to 11-15. As for North Montgomery, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-19.

Western Boone didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Benton Central on the 18th. North Montgomery does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
