Port St. Joe was handed a three-point  loss in their last  matchup, but they sure didn't let that happen against Franklin County  on Friday. The Port St. Joe Tiger Sharks simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Franklin County Seahawks 42-12. That 30 point margin sets a new team best for the Tiger Sharks this season.
 It was another big night for  Eli Harris, who rushed for 142 yards and two touchdowns on only 14 carries.  Daren Angelino did his part to keep the secondary busy, picking up 94  receiving yards.
 Port St. Joe was unstoppable on the ground and  finished the game with 311  rushing yards. That's the most  rushing yards they've posted since back in November of 2023.

It was truly a group effort as  Eli Godwin,  Asher Peacock,  and  Darion Cherry picked up one apiece. With that strong performance,  Cherry is now averaging an impressive 5.3  total tackles per game.  Jacob Marshall was another major factor on D,  picking up  two  sacks and making 12 total tackles.
 Port St. Joe's record now sits at 3-4. As for Franklin County, their defeat  ended  a  four-game streak of away wins  and  brought them to 6-2.
 Port St. Joe wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next  game,  a  24-0  win against Sneads on the 25th. As for Franklin County, they also  didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next  match,  a  39-6  loss against Lafayette on the 25th.
