The Tome Titans won the last time they faced the Aquinas Academy Crusaders, and things went their way on Friday too. Tome blew past Aquinas Academy 77-51. The win made it back-to-back wins for Tome.
Tome found their leader in underclassman Herold Beljour Jr., who scored 31 points along with seven rebounds and four steals. Another player making a difference was Spencer Cain, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 11 rebounds.
Tome pushed their record up to 11-6 with that win, which was their fourth straight at home. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.3 points per game. As for Aquinas Academy, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.
Tome will be playing at home against West Nottingham at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Aquinas Academy, they will head out on the road to take on Harford Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Aquinas Academy is facing Harford Christian at the right time seeing as Harford Christian is stuck on a 11-game losing streak.
