North Butler was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were two runs away from ending the streak, but they lost an 11-9 heartbreaker at the hands of the Central Springs Panthers. On the bright side, the nine- run performance marked the Bearcats' highest-scoring game to date.

North Butler's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Central Springs, their win bumped their record up to 3-1.

Coming up, North Butler will challenge West Fork at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Central Springs, they will take on Garner-Hayfield/Ventura at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
