Josue Pascual put up the most strikeouts he's had since back in March of 2024 on Thursday. He didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out eight over five innings pitched, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Gateway Charter is 2-1 when he allows at most one earned run, but 2-6 otherwise.

Coming up, Pascual and Gateway Charter will head out on the road to square off against Cape Coral at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The last time Pascual duked it out with Cape Coral (back in February of 2024), Gateway Charter came out on top by a score of 15-1. Will another strong game from Pascual be enough to do it again?
