Southern's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Belpre Golden Eagles 41-8. The win continues a trend for the Tornadoes in their matchups with the Golden Eagles: they've now won five in a row.

Southern's victory was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 2-6. As for Belpre, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-6 record this season.
