The dominant performance gave  him a new career-high in  strikeouts. He was also big at the plate,  going a perfect 3-for-3 with one  RBI.
 Haynes wasn't  the only one making solid contact as  four players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was  Brycen James, who  scored two  runs while going 1-for-2.
Maiden's record is now 2-4. As for West Lincoln,  this is the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 2-3.
 Looking ahead, Maiden will head out to  challenge West Caldwell  at 6:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. West Caldwell has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 11.83  runs per game on average), something Maiden will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for West Lincoln, they will look to defend their home field  on Tuesday against Bunker Hill  at 7:00  p.m.
