Archbishop Hoban has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging 3.59 runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Monday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the St. Vincent-St. Mary Fighting Irish, sneaking past 11-10. The Knights haven't had any issues with the Fighting Irish recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

Archbishop Hoban's victory bumped their record up to 11-6. As for St. Vincent-St. Mary, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-10 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Archbishop Hoban will venture away from home to take on Stow-Munroe Falls at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bulldogs have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 10.18 runs per game on average), something the Knights will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for St. Vincent-St. Mary, they will head out to face off against Padua Franciscan at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
