There's no place like home for the Highland Tech Rams, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Tuesday. They blew past Sugar Creek, posting a 55-16 win at home. That 39 points margin sets a new team best for Highland Tech this season.
Addie McCraw was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 15 points and 16 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Reese Thomas, who scored eight points along with 19 rebounds and four steals.
Highland Tech's victory bumped their record up to 12-5. As for Sugar Creek, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-12.
Highland Tech will head out on the road to face off against East Gaston at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. East Gaston is coming into the game on a six-game losing streak. As for Sugar Creek, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Piedmont Community Charter at 5:30 p.m.
