The Oak Ridge Trojans will challenge the Tracy Bulldogs at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Oak Ridge is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 7-1 margin over Folsom. The Trojans haven't had any issues with the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive win against them.
Ellison Schroeder spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered a run (which was unearned) on six hits and racked up ten Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up a single earned run in seven consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Brooklyn Paratore, who went 3-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. That's the most hits she has posted since back in April. Another player making a difference was Emery Glaser, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with three RBI, one run, and one double.
They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Oak Ridge kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Folsom only managed six hits.
Meanwhile, Tracy entered their tilt with Franklin on Friday with 20 consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with 21. They blew past the Wildcats 11-1. That's two games straight that the Bulldogs have won by exactly ten runs.
Tracy also got a great performance from Elisa Galli as she struck out 11 batters over five innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits.
On the hitting side, Taylor Sansaver was a standout: she went 3-for-4 with three runs, one stolen base, and one double. Emalee Cargill was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.
Tracy pushed their record up to 28-2 with the victory, which was their eighth straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.5 runs on average over those games. As for Oak Ridge, their record now sits at 22-4.
Tuesday's match will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Oak Ridge hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .322. However, it's not like Tracy struggles in that department as they've averaged .413. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Oak Ridge came out on top in a nail-biter against Tracy when the teams last played back in February, sneaking past 3-2. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Trojans since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
