Rocky Ford had lost six straight at home dating back to last season, but on Thursday they dropped down to 0-8 to make it seven. They took a 10-7 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Kiowa Indians. That's two games in a row now that the Meloneers have lost by exactly three runs.

He was also big at the plate, getting on base in four of his five plate appearances with two stolen bases, two runs, and one triple. He has become a key player for Kiowa: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 1-2 otherwise.
