Riverside hasn't had much luck against Spring Valley recently, but that could start to change on Saturday. The Riverside Warriors just played yesterday, but they'll still head out to face the Spring Valley Timberwolves at 5:00 p.m. One thing working in Riverside's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last seven games.
On Friday, Riverside earned a 66-54 win over Teays Valley Christian.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Riverside to victory, but perhaps none more so than Isaiah Coles, who almost dropped a triple-double on 15 points, ten rebounds, and nine assists. Coles has been hot for a while, having also posted two or more steals the last ten times he's played. Bryer Mullins was another key player, going 5 of 8 to rack up 15 points.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Spring Valley). They simply couldn't be stopped on Tuesday as they easily beat Hurricane 99-61. The Timberwolves have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five contests by 21 points or more this season.
Riverside better focus on containing Harrison Riggs and Colton Caldwell as the pair were huge in Spring Valley's win. Riggs almost dropped a double-double on 30 points and nine boards, while Caldwell dropped a double-double on 28 points and ten rebounds. The dominant performance gave Caldwell a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of Keyan Grayson, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and ten boards.
Spring Valley smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 17 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 13 offensive boards every time they've taken the court this season.
Spring Valley pushed their record up to 13-1 with the victory, which was their 14th straight on the road dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 74.8 points over those games. As for Riverside, their record now sits at 4-12.
Riverside suffered a grim 70-44 defeat to Spring Valley in their previous matchup back in January of 2024. Thankfully for Riverside, Terry Adkins (who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 12 rebounds) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
