The Daleville Broncos scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Indiana Math & Science Academy North 63-25 at home. The win was some much needed relief for Daleville as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.
Daleville's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Addi Gothrup led the charge by scoring 27 points along with six steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Gothrup has scored all season. Olivia Pratcher was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 16 points and ten steals.
Daleville's win ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-13. As for Indiana Math & Science Academy North, their loss dropped their record down to 5-16.
Daleville will stay at home for another game and welcome Union at 6:00 p.m. on January 26th. Hopefully Union focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up nine last Saturday. Indiana Math & Science Academy North won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against KIPP Legacy at 6:00 p.m. on January 24th.
