The third road contest was the charm for Roger Bacon, as they earned their first away victory of the season. They walked away with a 10-5 win over the Deer Park Wildcats on Tuesday. For the Spartans, this counts as revenge for the 18-6 victory the Wildcats walked away with the last time they faced one another back in March of 2019.
Kylie Land made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out seven batters over five innings while giving up just one earned (and four unearned) runs off eight hits (and only one walk).
