Baseball Recap: Ogden Makes It Six in a Row on the Road

For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Ogden and Madrid meet (four straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Tuesday. The Bulldogs put the hurt on the Tigers with a sharp 9-3 win. This was a revenge game for the Bulldogs: when they faced off against the Tigers on June 9th, they had to take a 5-4 defeat.

Ogden's victory was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-13-2. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.2 runs over those games. As for Madrid, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-12 record this season.

Ogden will host Twin Cedars at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Madrid, they will venture away from home to challenge South Hardin at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
