The biggest upset of the week belonged to Legacy Christian Academy, who took down 1030th ranked Legacy Christian Academy, 26-6. Andrew Wilson threw for 185 yards and three touchdowns in the win.
Cypress Christian moved up to 1,023 from 1,054 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in TAPPS Division III District 6. The Warriors were able to make move up by besting the Warriors 26-6.
Calvin Novotny was the most productive running back in the league this week. He ran for 32 yards on eight carries as Cypress Christian lost to Bay Area Christian. Teammate Blaise Fontenot added to the ground attack by rushing for 20 yards.
Davila was the best wideout in the league this week as the Eagles lost to the Broncos. Davila racked up four receptions for 108 yards. Breck Powers helped Rosehill Christian's passing attack out by catching four balls for 67 yards.
Scott Musgrove provided a threat through the air and on the ground as Rosehill Christian fell to Bay Area Christian. He completed 10 passes for 183 yards and two touchdowns and also ran for nine yards.
Jacob Spenn's team's Thomas Glazier and Frank Aufmuth have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading TAPPS Division III District 6 in both passing and receiving yards. Glazier has thrown for 727 yards this season, while Aufmuth, a 5-foot-11 receiver, has 45 catches for 592 yards. Legacy Christian Academy's Kyle Walker leads the league in rushing yards with 309.
The top two teams in the league will face off this week when first place Bay Area Christian takes on second place Legacy Christian Academy. Last week, Chris Jones' team topped Ryan Anthony's team, while Byron Sanford's team lost to the Warriors.
