The Chieftains pulled ahead on a passing touchdown, and subsequently went into halftime leading 10-3. The Cardinals scored the winning points with a touchdown pass by
Andrew Ballock to
Markis Hill that came in the third quarter.
Ballock played well for Eudora in the victory. The junior quarterback threw one touchdown and ran for one touchdown. He has now scored 14 touchdowns on the season.
Tonganoxie's lone touchdown came on a 45-yard pass in the second quarter.
EHS went into the matchup giving up only 9.2 points per game. THS's 10 points were right around its season average of 11.7 per game.
The loss snapped the Chieftains' 2-game winning streak. With the win the Cardinals extended their winning streak to four games.
