Baseball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Oasis Academy

Oasis Academy put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. Everything went their way against the Incline Highlanders as they made off with a 15-3 win. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 22-6 win on Saturday.

Ryder McNabb and Matthew Bird made a big impact no matter where they played. Throwing, McNabb tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Meanwhile, Bird tossed five innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off three hits. At bat, McNabb got on base in three of his five plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI, while Bird went 2-for-4 with two triples, four RBI, and two runs. Bird is crushing it when it comes to RBI: he's brought in at least three every time he's taken the field this season.

In other batting news, Jose Montalvo was incredible, going a perfect 4-for-4 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and two runs. Montalvo is crushing it when it comes to hits: he's got at least three every time he's taken the field this season. Kayden White was another key player, going a perfect 4-for-4 with four runs, two doubles, and one stolen base.

Oasis Academy kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 15 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least 15 hits every time they've taken the field this season.

Oasis Academy's record is now 3-0. As for Incline, they are on an 11-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.
