The Washington Eagles will look to defend their home court on Monday against the Galileo Lions at 4:00 p.m. Washington has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 300 points over their last four games.
Even though Washington has not done well against Lowell recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Wednesday. Washington secured a 59-54 W over Lowell.
It was another big night for Korey Abantao, who scored 20 points along with three steals. Another player making a difference was Quadir Jules, who scored nine points along with eight rebounds and two steals.
Meanwhile, Galileo strolled past The Academy - San Francisco with points to spare on Wednesday, taking the game 54-39. The win was just what Galileo needed coming off of a 86-60 defeat in their prior contest.
Washington has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 18-9 record this season. As for Galileo, their victory bumped their record up to 15-12.
Washington was able to grind out a solid win over Galileo in their previous meeting back in January, winning 56-45. Does Washington have another victory up their sleeve, or will Galileo turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
