Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Southside). They blew past the Patterson Lumberjacks 61-39 on Thursday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Sharks have posted since February 2nd.

Southside's win bumped their record up to 4-8. As for Patterson, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-11 record this season.

When Southside and Patterson next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Southside will try to stop David Thibodaux's eight-game winning streak when the meet at 7:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025. Meanwhile, Patterson will square off against Plaquemine and their four-game winning streak at 5:30 p.m. on December 31st.
