Lamar Consolidated was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 14-9 hit to the loss column at the hands of the East Bernard Brahmas. One positive for the Mustangs, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Lamar Consolidated's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for East Bernard, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to a perfect 2-0.

Looking ahead, Lamar Consolidated will face off against East Bernard at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for East Bernard, they will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on Smithville at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
