When it comes to explaining why Triad lost, one person who can't be blamed is Emma Ferguson. Despite the final result, she scored 14 points along with 9 steals. Ferguson scored a full 40% of Triad's points, the second time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Mia Lemay, who scored 10 points along with 6 rebounds.
West Jefferson's victory bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Triad, they now have a losing record at 3-4.

Mechanicsburg is coming into the match hot, having won their last four games. As for Triad, they will be playing at home against West Liberty-Salem at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. West Liberty-Salem's defense has only allowed 28.6 points per game this season, so Triad's offense will have their work cut out for Triad.
