Basketball Recap: Wyandotte Piles Up the Points Against Southeast

Wyandotte made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Southeast, but still couldn't quite topple them. The Wyandotte Bulldogs simply couldn't be stopped on Wednesday as they easily beat the Southeast Knights 52-21. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Bulldogs have posted since January 30th.

Wyandotte got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Jaylynn Hunt out in front who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 12 boards. Germya Sanford was another key player, going 5 for 9 on her way to 13 points and six rebounds.

Wyandotte's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Southeast, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Wyandotte will host Schlagle at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Southeast, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Paseo Academy of Performing Arts at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
