Kodiak was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight  loss. They lost  3-0 to the Colony Knights. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Knights this season, as they also lost their prior matchup  3-0  on Friday.
 The final score came out to 25-15, 25-11,  25-21.
 Maggie Hubert paced Kodiak's offense, picking up eight kills. Hubert got some help from  Fremela Garcia and her 15 assists. Hubert was also solid from the service line:  she led the team with two aces.
Kodiak's defeat dropped their record down to 2-11-2. As for Colony, they are  on a roll lately: they've  won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-6 record  this season.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Kodiak will get a bit of extra time to process the  loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Palmer at 7:00  p.m.  on October 17. As for Colony, they will host West Valley  at 6:00  p.m.  on Thursday.
