The Legacy Lightning scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Wednesday. They blew past Prairie View 60-36. That 24 points margin sets a new team best for Legacy this season.
It was another big night for Olivia Mortensen, who scored 32 points along with seven rebounds and five assists. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Meghan Allshouse, who scored 13 points along with five assists and five rebounds.
The win makes it two in a row for Legacy and bumps their season record up to 4-10. As for Prairie View, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-8.
Legacy will head out on the road to take on Brighton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Brighton is out to stop a four-game streak of losses at home. Prairie View will take on Mountain Range at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Mountain Range focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 34 last Tuesday.
