Oak Hills had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They blew past the Fairborn Skyhawks 17-7 on Saturday. The Highlanders not only won on Saturday, but they posted their biggest win since April 26, 2024.
Landen Seifert looked comfortable as he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits.
At the plate, Wil Kraus was incredible, going 3-for-4 with one home run, three stolen bases, and two runs. Another player making a difference was Cooper Harrison, who scored a run and stole three bases while getting on base in two of his four plate appearances.
Fairborn's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.
Coming up, Oak Hills will venture away from home to take on Sycamore at 5:00 p.m. on the 31st. As for Fairborn, they will host Greenville at 5:00 p.m. on the 31st.
