Spencer County not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since April 8th (when they won 15-5). Everything went their way against the Fairdale Bulldogs as they made off with an 11-3 win. The result was nothing new for the Bears, who have now won 13 games by six runs or more so far this season.

Spencer County's victory bumped their record up to 21-11. As for Fairdale, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 18 of their last 21 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-24 record this season.

Spencer County will head out to face off against Christian Academy-Louisville at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Centurions' pitching crew has only allowed 3.9 runs per game this season, so the Bears' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Fairdale, they will host Butler at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
