Unity Christian Academy has enjoyed the comforts of home their last two games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will face off against the Grant Park Dragons at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Grant Park took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Unity Christian Academy, who comes in off a win.
On Monday, Unity Christian Academy took their game at home with ease, bagging a 65-29 victory over Portage Christian. With that victory, Unity Christian Academy brought their scoring average up to 51.4 points per game.
Unity Christian Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Aidan Robinson led the charge by scoring 16 points along with eight steals and five rebounds. Those eight steals set a new season-high mark for him. Donovan O'Neil was another key contributor, scoring 16 points along with six steals.
Meanwhile, Grant Park fought the good fight in their overtime matchup against Momence on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell to the Momence Athletics 56-52.
Unity Christian Academy has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a massive bump to their 3-6 record this season. As for Grant Park, they have fallen quite a ways from their 22-11 record last season and are now at 3-6.
Unity Christian Academy was taken down by Grant Park 77-41 in their previous matchup back in December of 2022. The contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point Unity Christian Academy was down 53-15.
