Clark Fork are packing up and hiking across state lines for their matchup on Friday. They take on Northport at Northport High School at 7:00 PM. Clark Fork are cruising in on a three-game winning streak while Northport are stumbling in off of three consecutive losses.
Clark Fork took their game against Mullan/St. Regis MT last Friday by a conclusive 50-24 score. Followers of Clark Fork probably expected little less of the squad in a season in which they have collected three blowout victories.
Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 28-74, which was the final score in Northport's tilt against Mary Walker. The result was completely at odds with the teams' state rankings as Northport enjoys a hefty 248 spot advantage.
Clark Fork's win lifted them to 3-1 while Northport's loss dropped them down to 0-3. We'll see if Clark Fork's success rolls on or if Northport are able to steal their positive momentum.
