West Noble is 0-10 against NorthWood since April of 2017 but things could change on Monday. The Chargers will head out to square off against the Panthers at 5:30 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.
West Noble is headed out to face NorthWood after opening their season at home and giving their fans just what they were looking for. The Chargers blew past Lakewood Park Christian 12-1 on Thursday.

Jordan Eash made a splash no matter where he played. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out seven over 4.1 innings pitched. Those seven strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 1-for-2.
In other batting news, West Noble got a massive performance out of McKale Bottles, who scored three runs and stole four bases while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances. Trey Shisler was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 2-for-3.
West Noble always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .640. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Lakewood Park Christian only posted an OBP of .350.
Meanwhile, NorthWood got the win against South Bend Adams last Thursday by a conclusive 10-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Panthers.
Like West Noble, NorthWood also got a great game from a two-way player: Connor Reed. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing six innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits. Reed was also big at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing two bases. He has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last four times he's played.
In other batting news, Mason Warren was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last four games he's played dating back to last season. Another player making a difference was Nate Dutkowski, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 3-for-4.
West Noble suffered a grim 13-0 defeat to NorthWood in their previous matchup back in May of 2024. Can the Chargers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
