The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Shawe Memorial in their matchups with Switzerland County: they've now lost four in a row.
Cam Craig was his usual excellent self, shooting 4-for-5 from beyond the arc and dropping a double-double on 37 points and 17 rebounds for Switzerland County. That makes it seven consecutive games in which Craig has scored at least a third of Switzerland County's points. Kadyn Riley was another key contributor, scoring eight points.
Shawe Memorial has traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-12 record this season. As for Switzerland County, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-7.
Shawe Memorial will be playing at home against Trimble County at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Switzerland County, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 78-71 win vs. Austin on the 10th.
