Mulberry Gets a Boost from Hymes in 34-9 Win
Starting off the list is Mulberry's Traveon Hymes, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Hymes rushed for 111 yards and two touchdowns. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 111 rushing yards.
Mulberry's win was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-1. Hymes and Mulberry will challenge Lake Region at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Shaun Cherry produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Hardee to the win on Friday. Cherry rushed for 67 yards and two touchdowns on only eight carries.
DeSoto County had to have seen this coming; the last time they saw Cherry it was a similar story. Cherry rushed for 82 yards and two touchdowns on only five carries the last time he and the Bulldogs duked it out back in November of 2023.
