The Landmark Vikings's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their sixth straight loss. Their tough 68-43 loss to Boston Trinity Academy might stick with them for a while. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Landmark of the 63-58 loss they experienced in the two teams' previous head-to-head fixture back in January of 2023.
It was another big night for Wellbi Perez-Valera, who scored 30 points along with seven rebounds and five assists for Boston Trinity Academy. Perez-Valera continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Ceadan McCusker was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with five rebounds and five steals.
Landmark's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Boston Trinity Academy, their win bumped their record up to 10-5.
Landmark will stay at home for another game and welcome Gann Academy at 5:15 p.m. on January 25th. As for Boston Trinity Academy, they will head out on the road to take on Chapel Hill-Chauncy Hall at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Chapel Hill-Chauncy Hall has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games.
