Souderton came tearing into Friday's game with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8.3 points) and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against Murrell Dobbins Vo-Tech by a score of 58-51. Given the Indians' advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 184th, while Murrell Dobbins Vo-Tech are ranked 506th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Despite the defeat, Murrell Dobbins Vo-Tech had strong showings from Makaii Akridge, who went 7 of 14 on his way to 19 points along with five assists and five boards, and Haneef Davis, who went 6 of 13 en route to 20 points and seven rebounds. That's the most points Akridge has posted since back in December of 2023. The team also got some help courtesy of Hasan Laws, who posted six points and six rebounds.

Souderton's win bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Murrell Dobbins Vo-Tech, they dropped their record down to 1-8 with the loss, which was their fourth straight at home.

Souderton wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 48-33 victory against Quakertown on the 28th. As for Murrell Dobbins Vo-Tech, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 58-46 defeat against Dock Mennonite on the 28th.
