McKinley Tech walked away with  a   28-20  win over Phelps Architecture, Construction & Engineering  on Saturday. The  victory made it back-to-back  wins for the Trainers.
 Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead McKinley Tech to victory, but perhaps none more so than   Andre Johnson, who threw for 191 yards and a touchdown, and also rushed for 39 yards and a touchdown. Speaking of playmakers, who could forget  Micah Charles, who went all the way with a kickoff return for a touchdown.
 Meanwhile,  a  victory for Anacostia just wasn't in the cards  on Friday as the  squad wasn't able to take the lead at any point. They came up short against  Bell, falling  33-10. The Indians have now  taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
 McKinley Tech's win  ended  a  three-game drought at home  and  bumped them up to 3-4. As for Anacostia, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-6.
 McKinley Tech came up short against Anacostia when the teams last played  back in September of 2023, falling  12-8. Can McKinley Tech avenge their  loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
