McLane's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight loss. They took a 67-56 hit to the loss column at the hands of Fresno.
McLane's defeat came about despite a quality game from Cedric Hughes, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and ten rebounds. Hughes hasn't dropped below eight rebounds for seven straight games. Another player making a difference was Airian Chourn, who scored nine points.
Meanwhile, Torres strolled past Madera South with points to spare on Saturday, taking the game 61-45. 61 seems to be a good number for Torres as the squad scooped up a win with the same number of points in their previous game.
McLane's defeat dropped their record down to 12-10. As for Torres, their victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 9-10.
