Tomah will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Wisconsin Rankings (they are ranked 363rd, while Baraboo is ranked 113th).
Tomah suffered their biggest loss since December 15, 2023 on Tuesday. They were the victim of a tough 69-47 defeat at the hands of Aquinas.
Meanwhile, Baraboo had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 22.5 points), and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They blew past Mauston 66-42. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory Baraboo has posted yet this season.
Tomah has been struggling recently, as they've lost six of their last eight matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-11 record this season. As for Baraboo, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 13-3 record this season.
Everything came up roses for Tomah against Baraboo when the teams last played back in December of 2020 as the team secured a 77-41 victory. Will Tomah repeat their success, or does Baraboo have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
