Hammond will challenge Centennial on the road at 7:00 PM on Friday. Neither of those teams managed to put together many points in their previous contests, so their meeting could be a low-scoring affair.
Hammond took a serious blow against Howard last Friday, falling 0-38. Hammond were down by 0-38 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.
Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 0-50, which was the final score in Centennial's tilt against Reservoir.
With both teams hitting sour notes in their previous games, they will no doubt be looking to produce a better outcome in this one. Hopefully the teams can find a way to make up for their last outings by putting some points on the board this time.
