The Preston Knights scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They managed a 61-56 win over Philip Barbour. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Preston to victory, but perhaps none more so than Slaton Manko, who scored 14 points along with seven rebounds and three steals. Manko is trending in the right direction, as he's improved his point production for three games straight. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaden Bachtel, who scored 15 points.
Preston's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-7. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.3 points per game. As for Philip Barbour, they now have a losing record at 4-5.
Preston won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Bridgeport at 3:15 p.m. on January 27th. Bridgeport will be looking to extend their current seven-game winning streak. As for Philip Barbour, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against Lincoln at 7:30 p.m. Lincoln is coming into the matchup on a four-game losing streak.
