The last time they met ? Capitan was the 48-0 winner over Hagerman. This time around? They had no such luck. Capitan took a 14-22 hit to the loss column at the hands of Hagerman. The loss was a vexing one since Capitan was expected to win based on their state ranking. This was the first contest for both squads, starting Capitan off on the wrong foot at 0-1, while giving Hagerman a 1-0 record.
Next week, Capitan take on New Mexico Military Institute at 7:00 PM. As for Hagerman, they will face of against Mescalero Apache.
