On Saturday, while it was The Boonton Bombers who put the first points on the board, it was the Kittatinny Regional Cougars who put up more. Boonton fell 35-26 to Kittatinny Regional.
Several Bombers players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Adem Qose, who threw for 129 yards and two touchdowns on only eight passes. Metin Ahmedi also deserves a shout-out for his two touchdowns.
Jacob Savage had an outrageously good game for Kittatinny Regional as he rushed for 128 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 8.0 yards per carry. Savage was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 67 yards. Kevin Okeefe was another key contributor, gaining 102 total yards and a touchdown.
Boonton's loss dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Kittatinny Regional, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 5-5.
Boonton does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Kittatinny Regional also has no future games currently scheduled.
