Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Chilton County). They secured a 71-66 W over the Prattville Lions on Thursday. This was a revenge game for the Tigers: when they faced off against the Lions back in November, they had to take a 65-59 loss.

Chilton County's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jordan Simon, who went 10 of 14 en route to 20 points along with five boards and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Cayden Meank, who posted 19 points.

Several Lions players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Tanner Ehmen, who had six points in addition to 13 rebounds and three steals. Another player making a difference was Cameron Lewis, who put up 18 points and three steals.

The win made it two in a row for Chilton County and bumps their season record up to 3-5. As for Prattville, they dropped their record down to 4-6 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.

Chilton County didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 75-59 loss against Stanhope Elmore on the 6th. As for Prattville, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, an 83-82 defeat against Wetumpka on the 9th.
