Despite the defeat, Carol City had strong showings from Jahquori Lombrage, who scored 29 points along with five rebounds and three steals, and Mikaili Taylor, who scored 11 points along with seven rebounds and five steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Lombrage has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Decurtis Johnson, who scored six points.
Carol City's defeat dropped their record down to 6-10. As for North Miami, the victory got them back to even at 6-6.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Carol City will challenge Miami Beach at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Miami Beach presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Carol City in Florida (Miami Beach is ranked 273rd, while Carol City is ranked 605th). As for North Miami, they will head out on the road to face off against Jackson at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
