On Friday, Davenport North were out to avenge their 0-58 loss to Davenport Central from the last time they squared off against one another, but they had no such luck. Davenport North might be aching after a bruising 0-30 defeat to Davenport Central. The state rankings had actually given Davenport North a slight edge heading into the game, making this hurt that much more. The match pushed Davenport North down to 2-1 and pulled Davenport Central up to the reverse at 1-2.
Davenport North will be staying on the road next week, facing off against Davenport West. As for Davenport Central, they will face off against Pleasant Valley.
