The Easton Warriors were the 51-28 winner over the North Caroline Bulldogs when they last played one another back in February of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. Easton fell just short of North Caroline by a score of 36-34. Easton has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
North Caroline got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Selaya Garrison out in front who scored 13 points. The matchup was Garrison's third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Ashleigh Lawry, who scored nine points.
Easton has not been sharp recently, as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season. As for North Caroline, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 5-2.
Easton will be playing in front of their home fans against St. Michaels at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. St. Michaels comes in still looking for their first win of the season. As for North Caroline, they will head out on the road to face off against Cambridge-South Dorchester at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Cambridge-South Dorchester will be looking to keep their three-game home win streak alive.
